1.5 mm twin and earth 100m come sheathed with PVC that has a radial thickness of insulation. The 1.5 mm earth cable contains blue and brown cores with bare earth.
In addition, the 1.5 mm twin and earth cable cannot be used externally and is built according to Irish Wiring Regulations (ET 101) that require a full-sized and insulated (G/Y) earth conductor which replaces the previous bare CPC.
