Garo’s 63 amp fuse switch is a single-phase main fuse designed to open and close circuits when under loads. The purpose if this switch with fuse is to disconnect on load electrical circuits which are already safeguarded from overloads and short-circuits.
This 1 pole Garo switch fuse unit is tested and certified according to DIN VDE 0638. EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-3. There are several protection advantages that come with this Garo fuse switch device, especially when compared to the DO fuse alone. These include changing the fuse link without dancer of direct contact with parts under voltage, and snap-on mounting on din rail according to DIN EN 60715.
Other than that the 63 switch with fuse supply may be connected from either TOP or BOTTOM and can be used as the main switch and tariff fuse in a single 63 amp fuse device. There is also the possibility of sealing in ON or OFF positions with or without fuse-link with this switch fuse unit device.
