18 way metal clad consumer unit white Cudis
Our 17th Edition, 3rd Amendment Lumo Metal Clad Consumer Unit was produced in order to meet the regulation 421.1.201 starting from January 2016, stating all domestic consumer units installed have their enclosures made from non-combustible materials. Being designed to look like a traditional consumer unit, whilst also including our Lumo feature – LED function in the lid to ensure no-one is left in the dark. It’s available in white or black as standard or any RAL colour to suite consumer needs whilst also being designed to be easy to install. It conforms to BSEN61439-3 and BS7671.
Our Lumo Metal Clad Consumer Unit has been widely researched in order to meet the needs of the regulations, contractors, electricians and home owners. Aimed to be aesthetically pleasing with an all steel construction and drop down lid; our unit combines ease of installation with added safety features such as Earth contact points and non-combustible materials. Developed with consideration, our knockouts allow for full access of cables yet also being positioned on all four sides as well as the rear.
Receiving high praise from the NICEIC, exhibition audiences and within the electrical industry as a whole, our Lumo board is proving to be a great success. Not only does our Metal Clad Board stop the issue of warping when installing but also with lowered fire risk, it will rarely need to be replaced making it energy efficient. As a standard feature the LED strip allows anyone to reset a fuse switch in the dark with ease, making it ideal for properties where it’s fitted in a dark location, such as under the stairs.

Meteor Electrical Limited will accept returns up until 14 days after dispatch date on the conditions
- The Goods are in all original packaging
- The materials contain all original documentation (instructions, manuals, warranties or any other literature)
- Product is deemed by our returns department to be in a re-sellable condition
All refunds are made to the same payment method used originally to place the order (e.g. VISA Card) - unless specifically requested otherwise.
Faulty Products
- Products that are faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
- The complete product must be returned, unless previously agreed by Meteor Electrical in writing; incomplete items of parts may not be returned.
- Products within the manufacturers specific warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or a refund given at the discretion of the Manufacture.
