Product Information
The Kidde Firex is designed as a mains-powered thermal heat alarm with an unobtrusive design. The Heater is provided with a sealed self-charging lithium back-up battery which increases the durability of the fire alarm which lowers long term costs for the end user.
The fire alarm can be installed in humid and dusty areas of the home/business such as kitches, loft spaces and garages. The KF30R can be hard-wired interconnected to up to 23 Kidde Alarms.
The Kidde KF30R is CE marked, kitemark certified to BS5446 Part 2: 2003, and comes with a 6-year warranty.
This alarm can be installed as part of a BS5839-6: 2019 Grade D1 system.

Cancellations and Returns
Meteor Electrical Limited will accept returns up until 14 days after dispatch date on the conditions
- The Goods are in all original packaging
- The materials contain all original documentation (instructions, manuals, warranties or any other literature)
- Product is deemed by our returns department to be in a re-sellable condition
All refunds are made to the same payment method used originally to place the order (e.g. VISA Card) - unless specifically requested otherwise.
Faulty Products
- Products that are faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
- The complete product must be returned, unless previously agreed by Meteor Electrical in writing; incomplete items of parts may not be returned.
- Products within the manufacturers specific warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or a refund given at the discretion of the Manufacture.
